Theme

Last year, we brought together faculty and staff from regional campuses for a day of conversation around AI in teaching and learning. This year, we hope to continue the conversation with a focus on emergent areas of interest. A range of perspectives, including critical and practical approaches, are welcome.

Conference Themes:

  • AI and Teaching and Learning
  • AI and Research
  • Human Centered Practices
  • Evolving AI tools
  • AI in the workplace for faculty and staff

Session Types

All presentations will be in person

Individual Sessions (25 minutes)

A structured talk designed to inform the audience about a topic or project. Typically with 1-2 presenters, talks should address the conference themes. Disciplinary talks are welcome, but presenters should consider that this will be a multi-disciplinary audience and reviewers will pay particular attention that there are takeaways that are relevant across disciplines.

Panel Sessions (50 minutes)

Panel sessions are moderated discussions where multiple speakers share perspectives on a topic through conversation. Panels may include 3-4 speakers (including a moderator, if applicable). Panel presentations should include varied or contrasting perspectives on the selected topic. If selecting this type, please specifically address how the different perspectives on the panel will lead to an engaging discussion.
